What are cookies?
2.1. Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device (computer, tablet or phone) when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide information to the owners of the site.
2.2. We also use similar technologies such as local storage, session storage and pixels. Where this Cookie Policy refers to "cookies", it covers all of these technologies unless we say otherwise.

It also covers Leadfeeder, which identifies the company you are visiting from by looking your IP address up against a business database, so our sales team can see which firms have read which pages.

4.1. The table below lists the cookies set when you visit the Site, grouped by category. We review this list whenever we make material changes to the Site.
4.2. Not every entry below is strictly a cookie. Some are stored in your browser's local or session storage instead, which does the same job by other means; the "set by" column says which. And some carry a third party's name but are stored on willow.co rather than on theirs — a first-party cookie written by their script. We list them all the same way, because what matters is what is stored and who reads it, not the mechanism.

Being stored on willow.co rather than on their own domain makes no difference to what they are for: the party named in the "set by" column is the one that reads them, and their own privacy policy governs what they then do with the data. A first-party cookie is not a private one.
